Resource Center has led the way towards a more sustainable world right here in Chicago since 1975.
- We take steps other companies won't to insure almost 100% of our recyclables stay OUT of landfills.
- We work with restaurants to pick up food scraps they would otherwise send the trash so it can be turned into nutrient-rich compost for urban farming.
- We run an urban farm called City Farm to use as an example of best urban farming practices, an educational site for groups and schools, and
